Linda Jane Akright

Linda Akright, 73, of Sodus, passed away Friday, February 23, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Messages and memories may be shared online at www.bowermanfuneral.com.

Linda was born in Cook County, Illinois on March 4, 1945, the daughter of Norton and Saima Eleanor (Maronen) Whitlock. Linda continued to work at Whirlpool at the Executive Call Center until her passing.

She is survived by her children, John of Florida and Barbara (Jarrod) Miller of Las Vegas; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2015; and her sisters: Marjorie Brown, Mary Eleanor Morgan and Noreen Penney.
