Jimmie Ray Pugh, 72, of Eau Claire, died Monday morning, February 13, 2017, at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 25, at Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire. A procession to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sodus, will leave at 2 p.m. for graveside military rites conducted by the North Berrien Military Rites Team. Memorial donations may be made to Berrien County Humane Society. Jimmie was born July 18, 1944, in Haleyville, Alabama, the second son of Dennis and Juanita (Horn) Pugh. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was wounded by small arms sniper fire. He had worked as a fork lift operator for cold storage.
He is survived by one brother, Bobby Pugh of Sodus; and many nephews and nieces.
Jimmie was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Jabron Pugh; and one sister, Betty Sue Welch.
