Hal Leroy Rapert

Hal L. Rapert, 65, of Eau Claire, died Friday, December 14, 2018, at home.

He was born April 9, 1953, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Halbert and Columbine (Colvin) Rapert. He worked in construction as a roofer for Garey Roofing Company of Benton Harbor. He loved to hunt, fish, and watch NASCAR, and he enjoyed spending time with special friends William and David Napier.

Hal is survived by two brothers, Jeffery (Kat) Rapert of St. Joseph and Christopher (Bonnie) Music of Benton Harbor; and three sisters: Beverly (George) Jensen of Kalamazoo, Susan (Jonathan) Veersma of St. Joseph, and Shelly (Robert) O’Brien of Benton Harbor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Halbert Rapert; his mother, Columbine Music; and a brother, Carl Rapert.
