Forrest James "Jim" Moore

Forrest James “Jim” Moore, 82, of Eau Claire, died Friday, December 22, 2017, at West Woods of Bridgman.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28, at Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire, with Pastor Mark Mitchell of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Sodus, officiating. Friends are invited to visit beginning at 10 a.m., and to leave online messages at www.bowermanfuneral.com. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Penn Yan Cemetery in Bainbridge Township. Memorial donations may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Sodus.

Jim was born July 13, 1935, in Bainbridge Township, the son of Forrest G. and Agnes (Hafer) Moore. He was a loving brother and a very gentle man. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and traveling, and he liked to fish. He will be missed by all.

Surviving are his brother, Arthur (Barbara) Moore of Eau Claire; and two sisters: Donna (Dean) Saetre of Newport News, Virginia, and Maude (Bob Pagels) Moore of Eau Claire.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Bishop.
