Elepha Joyce Karn, 92, died Nov. 25, 2021 at home in Eau Claire.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, with visitation one hour prior beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Caldwell Cemetery, Eau Claire.

Elepha was born March 5, 1929 in Troy Township, Newaygo County, Mich., the daughter of Ervin and Mary (Smith) Wolgamott. She moved to Eau Claire 70 years ago from Bitely, Mich. In addition to caring for her family, she was a cook for Eau Claire Public Schools for 16 years. She also was a Den Mother, and she was involved with Keep the Flags Flying. She was a member of United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, Donald L. Karn Jr.; daughters, Margaret A. Maynard and Joyce D. Brewer; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and brothers: Guy, Andrew, and Loren Wolgamott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Karn Sr.; her parents; sister, Margaret Martin; and brothers: George Wolgamott, Labon Wolgamott, L.D. Wolgamott, Dale Wolgamott Sr., and Bruce Hill.
