Donna Lynn Whitman

Donna Lynn Whitman, 77, of Niles, formerly of Berrien Center, died Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, where friends are invited to visit beginning at 12 noon until service time. Donations in her name may be made to her church, The Church of Jesus Christ - Apostolic Lighthouse, 4161 Lake Street, Bridgman, MI 49106. Donna was devoted to her church and was faithful in supporting it.

Donna was born August 15, 1944, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Dale and Wilma (Stombaugh) Enders. She married Fredrick G. Whitman in Niles on March 9, 1962, and she cherished caring for their family. She was a talented seamstress and homemaker, and Donna loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also was a bus driver for Berrien Springs Public Schools.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Fredrick; her sister, Roberta Ritzema; and her brother, Melvin Enders.

Surviving are her daughter, Melody Lynn Whitman; two sons, Roy A. and Duane A. Whitman; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Paul Enders.
