Charles F. “Pat” Juergensen, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born in Berrien Springs on March 17, 1928 to Anna (Fischer) and Charles F. Juergensen, Sr. and has lived all of his life in Eau Claire at the family farm.
After graduating from Benton Harbor High School in 1946, he served his country in the US Army in the Korean War from 1950-1952 as an Army Sgt. 1C with the 555 Battalion. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation until his retirement in 1987.
Pat was an avid hunter and houndsman his entire life. From hunting pheasants with niece Penny, to running beagles, fox hounds, coon dogs and squirrel dogs with his buddies, Pat loved his hounds. He also loved visiting with family and friends.
Pat was a member of the Whirlpool and Bill’s Tap Fast Pitch Softball teams that won multiple state championships. He coached the Bennett Brothers Slow Pitch softball team to win a state championship title.
Pat is survived by his children, Jeff “Bo” (Vicky) Juergensen and Michele (Jim) Brock; grandchildren: Brittney (Josh) Spivey, Jennifer (Pete) Tirrell, Jarrett Juergensen, Carter Strebeck, Cooper Strebeck, Brock Strebeck; great-grandchildren: Owen Tirrell, Chloe Spivey, and Piper Tirrell; brother, Dale (Diana) Juergensen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jack Juergensen; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Al Bordon; brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Marge Juergensen; and daughter, Jamie Lynn Mastandrea.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Bright Star Tabernacle, 5130 Old Pipestone Rd., Eau Claire, of which Pat was a member. Pastor Mike Fields will officiate. Burial will be at Shanghai Memorial Cemetery in Eau Claire.
