Betty L. Durham

Betty L. Durham, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went home with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 14, at the Michiana Church of Christ, 500 E. Prairie Ronde Street, Dowagiac. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Memories and messages for the family may be left online at www.bowermanfuneral.com.

Betty was born June 11, 1934 in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of John and Cecil (Warren) Blaylock. She lovingly cared for her family and had also worked for VM and Heath Company. She will be greatly missed and loved so dearly. Her family was her greatest joy. She fully loved and enjoyed her life and time spent in Florida for many winters.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Joe; her baby daughter, Kay; her parents; and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her three sons: Earl, Steve and Dennis Durham; two grandchildren, Nick and Dustin Durham; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Jack; and three sisters: Bonnie, Shirley and Judy.
