Ruby Pearl Kessinger

Ruby Pearl Kessinger, 96, of Sodus, died July 5, 2023 at her home.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mike Fields of Bright Star Tabernacle officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.

Ruby was born August 5, 1926, in Hamilton, Indiana. She married Orville Kessinger and dedicated her life to caring for their family.

Survivors include her sons: Dennis Little, Orville Kessinger Jr., Richard Kessinger; daughters: Deborah (Ron) Uhrik and Karen Doty; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers: Peter (Bud) Lucas, Bob Gallager, Albert (Pete) Lucas, Fritz Lucas, Marion Lucas, Al Lucas, Jack Gallager; and sisters: Margret Getz, Helen Himes, and Gladys Hughes.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Elizabeth (Yazel) Lucas; her husband, Orville Kessinger; two sons, Wayne Little and Terry Little; and daughter, Diane (Rocky) Rothenthaler.
