Ronald Ralph Fecho Sunday, December 13, 1953 - Sunday, December 11, 2016

Ronald Ralph Fecho, 62, of Eau Claire, was born to Bernice Marie (Christy) and Ralph Adolph Fecho on December 13, 1953 in South Bend. He died December 11, 2016 at Lakeland Hospital-Niles following a short illness.

Ron was a lifelong resident of Eau Claire, except for a short time in Florida and Georgia. He graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1972. Ron was known as a gentle soul and was liked and loved by many, and he will be missed greatly by all.

He worked for many years for the Eau Claire company, All-Services, which took him to many parts of the country he may not have otherwise seen. He did some occasional farming with one of his good friends, which he called his “investments”. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and was always ready for a good story and a smile.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Kari Hilliard of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Ashley (Gariel) Pineiro of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Taylor and Lucas Croasmun and Hilliana Pineiro; sisters, Viva N. Casler of New Port Richey, Fla., and Mary (Jeff) Zerrenner of Eau Claire; brothers, Richard (Victoria) Fecho of Eau Claire and Joseph (Patricia) Fecho of Dowagiac; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of close, lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Fecho; more recently, “his best friend” and mother, Bernice Fecho; and a nephew, Nathan Zerrenner.

Ron’s memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 7, at Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire. Memorials given will be placed toward his grandchildren’s college fund. Messages for the family may be left online at www.bowermanfuneral.com.
